National President

Karen Mace - Xi Gamma

Jenny was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma, but moved to Stockton CA in 1969 after college graduation. Her husband went into the sign business with his father and she started teaching that fall in a small specialized school for pregnant minors.
 
Two years later, the lead teacher invited her to join her sorority, Delta Theta Tau. She has been a member as active, associate, alumni and MAL over the past 52 years. She have been an Active member for 38 years now.
 
She was married for 37 years and has two daughters and three grandsons. Her husband passed away in 2006. Life changed in immeasurable ways and at the end of the school year she retired in June 2007. She worked for Stockton Unified School District for 40 years mostly in biological sciences, but also was curriculum specialist for science and health.
 
Currently she is a member of United Congregational Christian Church where her daughter is the pastor. Her other daughter is an elementary school teacher and the mother to three teenaged boys. She is also the Educational Coordinator at Oak Grove Regional Park and leads school tours in the Native Plant garden.
 
She enjoys Delta Theta Tau and is inspired by the variety of philanthropy projects across our communities.

Vice President

Patty Jo Nierste - Eta Kappa

Patty Jo Nierste has been a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority 8 years and has remained active 8 years. She is a member of Eta Kappa Chapter, Brookville, IN. serving as Vice-President and President. She also is a Past Province Chairman of Theta Province, 2019. 

Her 30 year career was in Texas education in Risk Management & Safety. She is a member of Texas Association of School Boards, Texas Association of School Business Officials, Public Risk Management Association, School Safety Association and Texas Retired Teachers Association. 

At National Conventions Patty Jo has served as Page, Assistant Sergeant-At-Arms, National Nominating Chairman, 3rd Member, Board of Trustees 2021-2022, Secretary, Board of Trustees, 2022-2023 and currently serving as Chairman, Board of Trustees 2023-2024. 

She loves retirement, spending time with her daughter, Traeka, granddaughter, Summerlan plus many DTT Sister’s Travel Adventures!

Treasurer

Kathy Haralson - Zeta Upsilon

Kathy has been an active member of DTT, Zeta Upsilon, Seneca, IL for over 22 years. In her chapter she has held the offices of Publicity Chairperson, Treasurer and currently President. She has also served on the Ways and Means Committee, Membership, and most other committees.

Nationally she has served on the Legislation Committee, National Secretary and currently the National Treasurer. She loves to find creative ways to make money and give it away through Delta Theta Tau. Kathy also served as Chair (2019-2021) of the Beautification, Betterment & Tourism of Seneca.

Currently she is serving as the Micro Pantry Coordinator since it started in 2018. Kathy worked as the Vice President and part owner of  Already Trucking (2009-2016), the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Village of Seneca (2002-2005) & (2008-2020), Village of Seneca Planning Commission seat and is currently the Office Manager of Riverside Chiropractic Center.

Kathy has been with her wife, Laura, for 21 years and were finally able to marry 12 years ago. They have 4 children, Samantha (Rob), Victoria, Nicholas, (Shawna) and Daniel (Emily). Their four grandchildren, Justin, Eleanor, Lettie and Charlotte, are wrapped around their hearts.

She loves to travel, garden, weight lift, and volunteers whenever she can. Kathy was recently awarded the Small Town Civic Volunteer Award – National Honoree for the Village of Seneca, 2021.

Secretary of Philanthropy

Mandy Allen - Alpha Omicron

Paula Neidlinger is the newly elected National Secretary. She has been a member of Delta Theta Tau for 37 years and has remained active during this time.

She has held all the offices of her local chapter and is currently President. She has chaired numerous chapter projects throughout the years as a member of Zeta Zeta, Plymouth, Indiana.

Nationally, Paula served as GRIT Editor.  Regionally, she served as Province Chairman of Beta Province in 2018.

Paula is a published author, with three books to her credit. Most recently, August 2020.  Currently, Paula serves on the National Board of the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.

Paula is a retired elementary principal and middle school English and Television/Radio and Journalism teacher.

Paula is currently an account representative for Giant FM Radio.

She has been married for 37 years to Mike.  They have two children and one adorable three-year-old granddaughter, Nora

Paula loves to travel, garden, cook- thanks to Food Network, and play tennis, pickle ball, and golf.

Kris Trapp - Tau

Kris Trapp has been a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Tau Chapter, Valparaiso, Indiana for 19 years. She has served as Chapter President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Pledge Supervisor and has chaired several projects and committees.

Kris is currently serving as Secretary, Board of Trustees. Past National Offices include Third Member, Board of Trustees, National Secretary, National Treasurer and Nominating Committee Chairman. Kris is a retired Commercial Banker from JP Morgan Chase.

She has been married to Dave for 42 years and has 2 sons and 8 grandchildren. She enjoys travel, reading, golf, outdoor activities, working on Delta projects and spending time with family, friends, and Delta Sisters.

Kris’s favorite things about sorority life are philanthropy and sisterhood.

Secretary of the Board of Trustees

Evonne Albert - Xi Phi

Evonne has been an active member of the Xi Phi Chapter in Marissa, IL for 30 years. She has served in nearly every office and committee in her chapter.

After serving as Epsilon Province Chairman for two years, she served as Epsilon PEG before she served on the National Nominating Committee. She was elected as National Secretary, National Secretary of Philanthropy and National Treasurer before serving as the 3rd Member Board of Trustees.

Her and her husband Mark have been married for 35 years and have two children Sadie (and husband Andrew) and Wyatt (and wife Brooklin). She has two grandchildren Waylon & Meritt and a third on the way.

Additionally, she is a high school special education teacher and is always encouraging her students to volunteer in her community.

She enjoys volunteering in her spare time, but her favorite activity is babysitting Waylon & Meritt. Delta Theta Tau has helped her find friends in many corners of the country and to create a lifetime of memories.

Executive Secretary

Beth Wallis-Lambda Theta

Beth Wallis is the current National Executive Secretary, Honorary MemberShe is a member of Lambda Theta Chapter from Martinsville, IN where she has been a member for 38 years.

Outside of Delta Theta Tau, she is retired but now job shares as secretary at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and works for Golden Ticket Productions – sometimes backstage and sometimes in murder mysteries

Beth’s favorite parts about Delta Theta Tau are the philanthropy and fellowship.

Doris Sanders-Zeta Lambda

Doris Sanders is the current Editor of GRIT. She is a member of Zeta Lambda Chapter, Shelbyville, Indiana where she has been an active member for 55 years.

Outside of Delta Theta Tau, she recently retired as a Clinical Analyst in the Information Technology Department of Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus, Indiana.

Her favorite things are spending time with her husband, son, daughter and four grandchildren, photography and travel. Her favorite part about sorority is philanthropy.

She also loves serving as Recording Secretary and the sisterhood she enjoys with her Delta Sisters.

Director of Expansion & Growth

Kendra Olson-Zeta Upsilon

Kendra Olson is the current Director of Expansion and Growth. She is a member of Zeta Upsilon Chapter from Seneca, Illinois where she has been a member for forty-three years.

She retired from teaching Kindergarten for forty years. Kendra is currently enjoying substitute teaching and volunteering at her chapter and church. She is married to Jamie; they have two married children and three granddaughters.

Her favorite things about Delta Theta Tau are the sisterhood of women of all ages, conventions, making others smile, and helping those in need.

Kendra really enjoyed the installation of three new chapters because it made her closer to the National Officers also.

Webmaster

Michelle Westhues-Omicron Pi

Michelle Westhues is the current Webmaster. She is a third-generation member of the Omicron Pi Chapter in Bethel Missouri.

She lives in Moberly, Missouri where she is the Tourism Specialist with the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce and has a part-time photography business. You may notice a name change from her as she married her husband in October of 2022.

In her free time, she enjoys being a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Moberly Area Jaycees.
