Kris Trapp of the Tau Chapter of Valparaiso, Indiana
Kris Trapp has been a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Tau Chapter, Valparaiso, Indiana since 2004. Kris has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment across various roles. Chapter offices held include Pledge Supervisor (2023–2025), Recording Secretary (2007–2011), Vice President (2012–2014), and President (2014–2016). On National Council, Kris served as National Treasurer (2020–2021), National Secretary (2021–2022), and National Nominating Committee member (2019–2020). Kris served on the Board of Trustees as 3rd Member (2022–2023), Secretary (2023–2024), and Chairman (2024–2025). Kris retired from JP Morgan Chase in 2019, following a successful career in branch management and commercial banking. She’s actively served her community for many years including Steering Committee and Gala Committee roles for Opportunity Enterprises (2019–2025). Kris is deeply involved in Christ Lutheran Church, contributing to council positions and committees since 1995, as well as its Little Lamb Preschool.
Kris and her husband, Dave, have been married for 44 years and are proud parents to two sons, Dan and Steve (Jamie). They cherish their six grandchildren: Michael, Nathan, Emma, Sophia, Harlow, and Claire. In her leisure time, Kris enjoys traveling, reading, golfing, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends. Kris loves participating in Delta projects and events and serving as a National Officer.

Junior Cruea - Kappa Xi Chapter of Brookville, Ohio
Junior has been an active member of Kappa Xi Chapter, Brookville OH, for 25 years. She has served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Sgt at Arms in her Chapter.
She served as National Secretary last year and 3 years on National Board of Trustees as Chairman, Secretary and 3rd Member. She was on the National Philanthropy Committee for the 3 years commitment. She has helped at the National Convention as Page, Teller, Sgt at Arms, Memorial Team, and part of the Model Initiation team.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Brookville Community Theatre and has been active in the arts for 30 years. She and Larry have been together almost 50 years, legally 45!
She retired from the USPS after 34 years and has loved every day that God has given her. They have 2 daughters and sons-in-law, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandkids. I’m looking forward to this opportunity to serve on the National Council.
National Secretary
Debi Hamblet - Lambda Nu Chapter of Mooresville, Indiana
Debi has been a member of Delta Theta Tau for 10 years. Initially, she was a member of the Alpha Omicron Terre Haute chapter. During that time, she held the offices of Vice President as well as Recording/Correspondence Secretary. Since she lives in Indianapolis, driving to Terre Haute proved to be daunting during the winter months, so she transferred her membership to the Lambda Nu Mooresville chapter. In Lambda Nu, Debi held the offices of Pledge Supervisor, Recording Secretary and is currently the chapter President. She also was proud to be Alpha Province Chairman for the 2022-2023, 2023-2024 years. Debi went back to work after retiring in 2020, and is a Data Security Analyst for Franciscan Alliance hospitals. She is married (Craig) and has two adult stepchildren and two wonderful grandchildren. Debi is excited to be with National Council.

Paula Neidlinger - Zeta Zeta of Plymouth, Indiana
Paula Neidlinger has been a member of Delta Theta Tau for 39 years and has remained active during this time. She has held numerous offices within her local chapter and chaired multiple chapter projects throughout the years as a member of Zeta Zeta, Plymouth, Indiana. Nationally, Paula is currently serving as National Treasurer. Past National Offices included GRIT Editor, National Secretary, and National Secretary of Philanthropy. Regionally, she served as Province Chairman of Beta Province in 2018. Paula is a published author, with three books to her credit. Most recently, August 2020. Paula is a retired elementary principal and middle school English, Television/Radio and Journalism teacher. She has been married for 39 years to Mike. They have two children, Alyson and Nicholas (Brenna) and two adorable grandchildren- Nora and Austin. Paula loves to travel, garden, cook, read, and actively plays tennis, pickleball, and golf.

Sharon Miller - Xi Chapter of Portland, Indiana
Sharon has been an active member of Delta Theta Tau for 39 years. She is now a member of Xi Chapter in Portland, IN. She was able to honor the chapter by being Province Chairman in 2023-2024. Sharon transferred her membership when Eta Mu, Goshen, IN disband. While a member if Eta Mu, she held every office, was chairman of several committees, and they hosted 2 Province Conventions in which chaired for both. She has 4 grown children. 3 are living up in Elkhart-Goshen area, with one living in Austin, TX. Both her granddaughters in Elkhart, Sydney Grace, who is 22 and a brand-new granddaughter Juniper Moon who was born on May 14. Sharon currently lives in Ft. Wayne, IN but gets back to Elkhart and Goshen as much as she can. She is so excited to serve Delta Theta Tau in the role of Secretary of Philanthropy.

Evonne Albert - Xi Phi of Marissa, Illinois
Evonne has been an active member of the Xi Phi Chapter in Marissa, IL for 32 years. She has served in nearly every office and committee in her chapter. After serving as Epsilon Province Chairman for two years, she served as Epsilon PEG before she served on the National Nominating Committee. She was elected as National Secretary, National Secretary of Philanthropy and National Treasurer before serving as the 3rd Member and Secretary, Board of Trustees. Her and her husband Mark have been married for 37 years and have two children Sadie (and husband Andrew) and Wyatt (and wife Brooklin). She has four grandchildren Waylon, Meritt, Shepherd and Weston. She has been a high school special education teacher for 17 years. She enjoys volunteering in her spare time, but her favorite activity is babysitting the grandchildren. Delta Theta Tau has helped her find friends in many corners of the country and to create a lifetime of memories.

Dana Anderson - Gamma Pi of New Paris, Ohio
Dana has been an active member of Gamma Pi Chapter in New Paris, OH for 45 years. She has served her chapter as Pledge Supervisor, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Vice President and President. She has also served as Gamma Province Chairman (1989-1990, 2019-2020, and 2020-2021). Dana has also been Gamma Province Expansion and Growth Chairman (1991-1995). She served as Third Member, Board of Trustees 2024-2025. She is a Certified Professional Medical coder. Dana is a third generation Delt and proud of it. Her mother and two sisters are active members in Gamma Pi. She was married to Dave for 33 years until his passing in December, 2023. She has a son, Gerrit and daughter-in-law, Kinsey, and grandson Benjamin. Dana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and attending her great nieces and nephews sporting events. She is very excited and looking forward to serving on the National Board of Trustees.

Kathy Haralson - Zeta Upsilon of Seneca, Illinois
Kathy has been an active member of DTT, Zeta Upsilon in Seneca, IL since 2000. Within her chapter, she has held various offices, including Publicity Chairperson, Treasurer, and currently President. Nationally, Kathy has served on the Legislation Committee, as National Secretary, and is now in her second term as National Treasurer. She is passionate about finding creative ways to raise funds and support others through Delta Theta Tau. Kathy also chaired the Beautification, Betterment & Tourism committee in Seneca from 2019 to 2021 and currently serves as the Micro Pantry Coordinator since its inception in 2018. Beyond her sorority involvement, Kathy has contributed to her community as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Village of Seneca (2002-2005 & 2008-2020) and held a seat on the Village of Seneca Planning Commission. Professionally, she has been the Office Manager at Riverside Chiropractic Center for over 11 years. Kathy and her wife, Laura, have been together for 22 years and have four children: Samantha (Rob), Victoria, Nicholas (Shawna), and Daniel (Emily). Their four grandchildren—Justin, Eleanor, Lettie, and Charlotte—hold a special place in their hearts. Kathy enjoys traveling, gardening, weightlifting, and volunteering. In 2021, she received the Small-Town Civic Volunteer Award as a National Honoree for her contributions to the Village of Seneca.

Beth Wallis-Lambda Theta of Martinsville, Indiana
Beth Wallis is the current National Executive Secretary, Honorary Member. She is a member of Lambda Theta Chapter from Martinsville, IN where she has been a member for 39 years.
Outside of Delta Theta Tau, she is retired but now job shares as secretary at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and works for Golden Ticket Productions – sometimes backstage and sometimes in murder mysteries.
Beth’s favorite parts about Delta Theta Tau are the philanthropy and fellowship.
Editor of GRIT
Doris Sanders-Zeta Lambda of Shelbyville, Indiana
Doris Sanders is the current Editor of GRIT. She is a member of Zeta Lambda Chapter, Shelbyville, Indiana where she has been an active member for 57 years.
She has retired from her Clinical Analyst, Information Technology position of Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus, Indiana. Her Retirement cake said, “Under new management: For more details, see her grandkids!” So true!! They are her favorite people to spend time with along with her husband, son, and daughter.
She enjoys being Editor of GRIT, photography, writing and travel. Her favorite part about sorority is philanthropy and she loves serving her chapter as Recording Secretary.
She loves all her Delta Sisters, going to National and Province Conventions and working on projects with her chapter.
Director of Expansion & Growth
Mandy VanLannen
Mandy VanLannen brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to her role as Director of Expansion and Growth. A devoted mother of four—Kendal (17), Carter (15), KoraLeigh (11), and Crosby (8)—Mandy’s life is deeply rooted in family, service, and community.
Professionally, she serves as an Elementary School Counselor at Van Duyn Elementary School in Clinton, Indiana, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting and guiding young students. Beyond her school responsibilities, Mandy is involved in her community through Junior Optimist Service Club and WBGL Kindness Club, volunteers at nursing homes with her therapy dog Pablo, coaches a rec league baseball team and chairs her town’s Little & Tiny Miss Pageant.
Mandy’s leadership reaches the national level, where she is currently serving her fifth year as a National Officer. Her past roles include National Secretary, National Secretary of Philanthropy, Nominating Committee member and Province Chairman. She has also served in every chapter officer position, demonstrating her deep commitment to the organization’s mission.
This year marks an exciting milestone in Mandy’s leadership as she celebrates the successful addition of three new chapters. With momentum and vision, she looks forward to continued expansion and empowering even more members in the coming year. Mandy exemplifies the spirit of growth, service, and leadership, driving both her community and organization toward a bright future.
Director of Public Relations
Michelle Westhues-Pi Delta Chapter of Moberly, Missouri
Michelle Westhues is the current Director of Public Relations where she has served in this position since 2019. She is a third-generation member and recently started a new chapter, Pi Delta in Moberly, Missouri.
She currently lives in Moberly with her husband Alex whom she married in 2022 and their five cats.
Full-time she works for Missouri Telehealth Network under Mizzou as the Program Promotions Coordinator.
Her favorite aspects about Delta Theta Tau is the sisterhood and giving back to those in need.
Outside of work, she loves photography, traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle is most proud of her accomplishments of being in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, receiving the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Tourism Innovator Award in 2022 with the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce, being the first-ever Missouri graduate of Southeast Tourism Society’s Marketing College and co-planning community events, Junk Junktion and Gus Macker that brought over 22,000 people to Moberly.
She is excited to continue to serve Delta Theta Tau is this capacity.
