Chapter Philanthrophy
The heart of Delta Theta Tau is philanthropy. Our chapters are able to choose the best philanthropy projects and volunteer opportunities for their communities. Chapters are not required to have so many hours or dollars raised per year, but awards are given at National and Province Conventions for the top 10 chapters in the country.
Examples of projects include, but are not limited to:
- Gift card fundraisers
- Galas
- Food fundraisers
- Trivia Nights
- Community events
- Highway clean-ups
- Concession stand, food pantry, homeless shelter volunteering
- Raffles, purse auctions, 50/50s
- Craft shows
Our National Philanthrophy is the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dyplasias (NFED).
NFED is a rare genetic disorder that affects individuals hair, nail, teeth, hands, sweat glands. Research is currently being done in utero for individuals with this conditions.
